The McKellar Conservation Association will be hosting the Big Fish Classic on Lake Manitouwabing from September 26 to 28.

3 Naked
The West Parry Sound District Museum will be holding the opening of Naked, a revealing exhibition of painting, sculpture, and photographs from 7 to 9 p.m. on October 3.

17 Novice/Atom Tournament
The Parry Sound Hockey Club will hold its annual Novice/Atom hockey tournament at the Bobby Orr Community Centre on October 17 to 19.

21 Jane Urquhart
Jane Urquhart will be doing a reading of her book A Map of Glass at the Charles W. Sotckey Centre, October 21.

24 Halloween Tournament
The Parry Sound Hockey Club will be holding its annual Industrial League Halloween Tournament at the Bobby Orr Community Centre, October 24 to 26.

28 Retirement Festival
Barb Kerr will be hosting her annual Retirement Festival at the Charles W. Stockey Centre starting at 10 a.m. The festival is for anyone retired or new to the area and wondering what great things there are to do in and around our area.

2 International Festival of Authors
Two Canadians and one Danish author will be doing a reading at the Charles W. Stockey Centre on November 2.

11 Book Reading
Sheree-Lee Olson will be doing a reading of her book Sailor Girl at the Charles W. Sotckey Centre on November 11

21 PeeWee/Bantam Tournament
The Parry Sound Hockey Club will be holding its annual PeeWee/Bantam hockey tournament at the Bobby Orr Community Centre from November 21 to 23.

5 Light Up The Park
Light up the park will be held December 5 at Market Square park in Parry Sound.

5 Midget Tournament
The Parry Sound Hockey Club will be holding its annual Midget tournament December 5 to 7 at the Bobby Orr Community Centre

20 Christmas Carol Sign-a-long
The sing-a-long will be held at the Charles W. Stockey Centre starting at 1 p.m. with donations for Harvest Share Food Bank being accepted at the door.

22 Santa Claus Parade
The Optimist Club will be holding its annual Santa Claus Parade in Parry Sound.
