The 9th annual firefighter Halloween Dance held at the Recreation Hall in Carling Township. Doors open at 8 p.m. Dance will have a DJ, prizes, costume contest, and more.

The Santa Claus Parade will take place in Parry Sound again this year.

Light Up the Park
Light Up the Park at Market Square Park begins at 6:30 p.m. This annual event will start our festive season. Free turkey draws and hot chocolate. Music and caroling. A local student receiving the honor of lighting up the whole park, followed by a visit from Santa.

Belly Dancing
Every Wednesday in November, belly dancing
classes will be held at the Orrville Community Centre, from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

CP Holiday Train
Early December brings the CP Holiday Train through MacTier and Parry Sound, check www.cpr.ca for the exact time and date.

Festival of Trees
The Festival of Trees will be held at the Parry Sound District Museum, with many trees decorated on the porch to view.

The town's people of Parry Sound, its seasonal population, railroad enthusiasts, heritage preservation groups and related rail companies are invited to join the communities of Georgian Bay Country and the Canadian Pacific Railroad in celebrating the construction and continued use of one of the premier bridges in Canada.
